Judge Fuller beats wife still on the bench

Judge Mark Fuller of Alabama beating his wife while she is on the phone talking to 911 operator. Now why is this Judge charged with a misdemeanor? Blood & Hair on the floor.
It is therefore interesting how this Judge is still employed while NFL players are being suspended and fired.
