My Melanin friend Joe, and his Caucasian friend both enter the Warrenton Fred Meyer store, both with their weapons holstered. Immediately a call was made that a Black man, had a weapon.
The Warrenton Police surrounded Joe, with guns pointed at him and not a John whom also had a sidearm. They commanded Joe to put the sidearm down on the ground, and place himself flat on the ground as well. Even after cooperating with the Warrenton Police, they still wanted to know where and whom Joe purchased the weapon, even after the serial numbers and criminal records checked out all clear. Nothing was done to John, even after he approached, the officer’s verbally complaining, of racial injustice. John is alright with me.
